Let me inform you in advance, all the methods mentioned here are best only when you bring them in daily routine. If you just want to change yourself by reading, please do not waste your time. If you have decided to read then use the method given. So, we are talking about alpha. What is alpha?
According to Cambridge dictionary,"Alpha used to describe someone who is strong and powerful and who likes to be in charge of other". The tasks that need to be done to become alpha will be told to you one by one. In this blog we will talk about self-respect. Self-esteem in alpha is as important as wings for a bird to fly. But it is often seen that the human soul is not able to distinguish between honour and pride and instead of self-respect, the person starts boasting and this boasts has a negative effect on his personality. Let me tell you a story……..
In a dense forest there lived a lion. He thought he had more strength than all the other animals in the forest. As he often boasted about his strength, the other animals stayed away from him. Even the other lions did not mix him since they thought he was proud.
As the lion was wandering through the jungle one day, he saw a tiger and stopped him.
“Who is stronger than you?” the lion demanded.
“You, O lion”, replied the tiger.
Satisfied, the lion walked on, until he met a huge fierce leopard.
“Who is fiercer than a leopard?” asked the lion.
Since the leopard had heard about this lion, he wanted to ignore him. As he could not, he murmured, “You, Sir”, and walked off.
The lion felt even happier than he had felt with the tiger’s reply and decided to return to his den. Just then he spotted a huge elephant. He marched up to him and asked the same question.

While the lion was waiting for an answer, the elephant looked him up and down. Without answering, he picked up the lion in his trunk, swung him in the air and put him down with a thud.
“Look,” said the lion, “there is no need to get mad just because you don’t know the answer.”
It is learned from this story that you should not boast on what you have and the best lesson that this story gives, it is, that no matter how intelligent you are, powerful, fully skilled in some work, one day someone will beat you. You should not be disappointed at that time. Do not let your self-respect fall. But do what the lion did. Keep in mind that you can tackle yourself by working hard, but comparing yourself with others, you will find yourself inferior or superior. In such a situation, your self-esteem will either decreases or increases. You have to avoid such situation and keep yourself working continuously. These were preliminary things, in next blog we will discuss the methods by which you will assess yourself.
